Join us for our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 30th September to hear about our plans for the year ahead. The formalities will be kept short and we have 2 speakers lined up to bring you the latest on Local Power Plan funding and new guidance for working with Local Authorities, with some time for Q&A.
- Update on the Local Power Plan (speaker to be confirmed)
- Dr Rachel Coxcoon of Climate Guide, will introduce the new guidance for community energy groups on working with Local Authorities, developed in partnership with Community Energy Pathways, UK 100, Community Energy England and the Greater South East Net Zero Hub.
There will also be a chance for you to vote on proposed meeting topics and to put forward your suggestions and ideas, which we’ll take away and feed into our planning for future events and activities.
At the AGM we will also be re-electing the WCEN Steering Group. This year we are delighted to welcome 2 new members – Sara Grimes from Bath & West Community Energy and Jamie Oakey from Dorset Community Energy.
