Councils and community energy working in partnership to deliver collaborative projects: Sharing collaborative examples from councils and community based schemes to support enhancing the delivery of renewable energy in partnership with communities.

A recent report from the Committee on Climate Change highlighted the importance of community involvement in the net zero transition. This Wessex Community Energy Network in-person event aims to showcase actions Local Authorities have undertaken to foster community engagement and how existing community energy groups can help facilitate this process.  Following the presentations there will be a discussion on practical opportunities for further local authority- community energy collaboration.
